Ankle Support FAQS

All three of our ankle supports can be worn with shoes. The sturdy ankle brace is the bulkiest of the three and it is recommended that it is worn with trainers or shoes with a little extra room.

The reinforcing ankle support and the sturdy ankle brace open right out to allow you to but your delicate foot into them. The compression sleeve does need to be pulled over the ankle and thus may be painful if you have suffered a severe ankle sprain.

We would advise that you sit down to fit your ankle support. You may find it useful to prop your foot on a stool in front of you.

Strap it firmly around the ankle, tight is good, however, try not to restrict circulation to the foot.

The reinforcing ankle support features an additional strap which can be wrapped as you please to give support to the area most in pain.
